Level I: Jongleur
The jongleurs were professional musicians that travelled from town to town entertaining people in castles and villages with staging shows, acrobatics and music. They were considered social outcasts. They were just performers, playing songs taken from other composers. Create a Melody in the jongleur style following the requirements below:
Your melody must have:
- An original title and the name of the jongleur.
- Eight bars.
- Instrument: flute.
- 3/4 time signature.
- A melody using only the notes of the medieval Dorian mode: re, mi, fa, sol, la, si, do’, re’.
- It must start and finish in re.
